These English guides help you prepare a non-urgent inquiry about a spouse
or partner whose relevant activity is in Japan.
They do not establish that infidelity occurred, that an investigation is
necessary or that a request can be accepted.
Guide 1
Before confronting your partner
A change in communication, travel or routine can raise concern, but
one behavior alone does not prove infidelity. Before a difficult
conversation, separate what you know directly from what you think it
may mean.
Make three short lists
- Facts you directly observed
- Questions you cannot yet answer
- Assumptions or interpretations
Use dates and time zones where they help. Do not access another
person's phone, account, messages or private records to fill gaps.
Safety first: if a confrontation may put anyone at
risk, do not rely on a business website for emergency help. Contact
local emergency services or police.
Guide 2
Write a non-identifying first inquiry
A useful first message can be brief. Explain the general purpose, the
connection to Japan, what you directly observed and what you want to
clarify.
Illustrative wording:
“My partner has been
travelling to Japan more frequently. I do not know the reason. I would
like to ask whether this type of concern is within your scope.”
Do not include a third party's name, address, identity document,
password, account details, private images or sensitive evidence in the
initial form. Attachments are not accepted.
Guide 3
Questions to ask about an estimate
Do not make a decision from a headline price alone. Ask for a written
estimate and check:
- what work is included and excluded;
- which locations, hours and staffing assumptions apply;
- travel, equipment, report and tax treatment;
- how additional work is approved;
- payment timing, pause and cancellation terms.
Submitting a website form does not authorize paid work or create a
contract.
Guide 4
Privacy and safety boundaries
SPLASH will not accept requests involving stalking, harassment,
discrimination, threats, retaliation, illegal access, unauthorized GPS
installation, trespass, wiretapping or locating a person escaping
abuse.
Before sending, consider whether someone else can access your email
account, device notifications or shared screen. No communication
method can be described as completely risk-free.
Messages may be machine-translated into Japanese and delivered to the
operator through email and LINE services. A human must review a
translated reply before it is sent.
